Rick and Lynda Hahn says
We have many cherished memories of John working together for God’s future kingdom. This included the many years of ministry together with Castleview Baptist Church boys at “Geiger island”. The countless deacon hours of working the grounds of the church to make them beautiful and representative of God’s natural order. Placing the holiday flowers and banners inside the church was a work of love for John. Indeed, John was a good and faithful servant of his Lord, and now is part of the worshiping community in his glorified body with Jesus Christ.

John was such a delightful, uplifting Christian gentleman in every sense of the word. He loved his family dearly and always had a smile on his face when speaking of the family, especially the grandchildren. We were associated in business since 1976. John was a fine role model for all of us and leaves a legacy of kindness, caring and integrity. God bless all as you mourn his loss.

Dear Becker family,
I am sorry for you loss. John was a good man and always served our company with a sincere and professional attitude. Whenever there was a problem, he took care of it. It is rare these days, but when John gave his word, you could write it stone. He will be missed by myself and my employees.
Sincerely,
Eric Roeseler

We are truly sorry to hear about John’s passing. He is reunited with Kay and John Jr. We always enjoyed spending time with John & Kay and remember Christmas parties at their home. John served the Lord for many years at Castleview and we are richer for his example and witness.

We never had the privilege of meeting John, but we are friends of Jackie and we quickly learned that John was a very kind and caring man. We know that God does all things well. He will give you all His comfort and love to see the family through these difficult times.

Mr. Becker (I could never bring myself to call him John) was one of my Sunday School teachers at Devington Baptist Church back in the 1960’s. I always looked up to him with the utmost of respect. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing but I am thrilled that he is now rejoicing at the feet of his beloved Savior. Thank you Mr. Becker for being such a wonderful role model to me and to hundreds of others.
